Holiday Lets - Your Obligations

The following is information for owners on our community whose properties are advertised as holiday lets.

If you are advertising and renting your property out as a holiday let you must absolutely have a tourist license.

The usual procedure for obtaining the license is to send all relevant documentation which is required into the town hall, if everything is accepted, you must then ask the Town Hall for permission. Finally, once permission from the Town Hall has been received, permission is then required from owners in a general assembly. These are your obligations. Should you choose to ignore them, be advised that there could be legal and financial consequences to you. We suggest you fully comply with these regulations.

This matter will be discussed at the annual meeting in October once again. If your property is advertised you need to send a copy of your tourist license to our administrator. If you are not licensed or you have not sent us a copy of your tourist license your tenants are very likely to be refused use of our facilities. If your property is licensed but has been troublesome we as owners can also withdraw our permission for you to continue.

Thanks in advance I hope this clears up the  requirements for people using their properties as holiday lets.

Our residential community is not a holiday resort and needs to be treated with respect.
