Letter to the mayor of the Orihuela Costa

Just sent the following to one of our so called mayors of the Orihuela Costa.

Hello Senor Gonzales I know that you try to help when possible but I contacted you 6 weeks ago to no avail with regards to the over grown parks, play areas and roundabout in and around Calle Castillo de la Atalaya. These parks continue to be unmaintained and are an eyesore to residents and visitors alike. Last week 2 workers cleared the pavements of weeds but in the process they damaged cars with flying gravel and proceeded to leave everything they had cut to be blown around the streets. What kind of disrespectful service is this? As it is now with these parks being so over grown because of months of neglect they are a serious danger due to fire risk in these drought conditions. Myself and my fellow owners demand that these issues are resolved and we are given the respect and services that our taxes pay for. Orihuela Costa has become a disgrace under yourself and others governance. If there is any excuse or reason for what is happening here on the Orihuela Costa I would be intrigued to know. You recently sent out information with regards to blue flag beach awards. Who wants to come to an area with blue flag beaches if the streets are strewn with litter and the general area looks like a 3rd world shanty town.

Sincerely Robert Riley president Playa golf 2 r1 and r2.
